It is Allah (SWT) Who makes the ships to sail, which also carry items of commerce. When afflicted by the fear of drowning they invoke only Allah (SWT), but when He brings them safe to the land, they turn away from Him, exhibiting ungratefulness and infidelity. They should know that Allah (SWT) can punish them in many other ways.
