“Menstruation is the periodic discharge from women of unclean, waste material and blood. Sexual intercourse in this period is prohibited because it is unclean, unpleasant and harmful to both the members. Allah (SWT) likes those who repent and are clean. Women (wives) are compared to tilth for sowing the seed i.e. they should be approached with the intention of child birth. Even while discussing sex one is reminded about fearing Allah (SWT) so as to keep away from sinful acts because one day all of us will meet Him to give an account of all our deeds. The good news of paradise is given to the believers.”
