For additional information refer commentary Chapter:19 Verses 51-55 (Page No.416) The statement of Musa (PBH) reported in 27:7. contains the words Shihaabin Khabasin translated as ‘a burning brand’ and in 28:29 for the same item the words ‘Jazwatin min an naar’ translated as ‘a brand from the fire’ is used. This shows that what is important is the communication of the incident and not the exact repetition of words. In view of this, different translators may use different words to communicate the meaning of a word in a manner in which they have understood it. Many examples can be given, for instance, the word ‘Rabb’ has been translated as Lord, Sustainer, Cherisher Fosterer etc.
