Al-'Imran (The Family of Imran)

Surah 3 · Verse 67

Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian but he was upright, one who submitted (as a Muslim), and he was not of the polytheists.

مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
