An-Nisa' (The Women)
Surah 4 · Verse 113
And had Allahs grace and mercy not been on you, a party from among them had designed to mislead you. But they do not mislead anyone except themselves and they will not harm you in the least. And Allah has sent down to you the book and the wisdom and He has taught you that which you did not know and the grace of Allah on you is great. (P 4,
The effort of the opponents was to mislead Muhammed (PBH) from the Quran. They could neither do this nor harm him because of the grace and mercy of Allah, (SWT) on him. In fact they are on the wrong path. ‘The book’ is the Quran and the wisdom appears to mean implementing the Quran in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (PBH).
