Surah 40 · Verse 55
So be patient, the promise of Allah is certainly true and seek protection for your sin and glorify by praising your Fosterer in the evening and the morning.
One has to seek the protection of Allah (SWT) from future sins too i.e., we should pray to Him not only to forgive our past sins but also to keep us safe form committing sins in future.
