Surah 41 · Verse 45

And We had given the book to Musa but they disagreed therein. And had a word not gone forth from your Fosterer, it would have been judged between them, and they are certainly in a restless doubt about it.

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ ۗ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرِيبٍ
