Al-Ma'idah (The Table)
Surah 5 · Verse 104
And when it is said to them, “Come to that which Allah has sent down and to the messenger,” they say, “That on which we found our fathers is enough for us.” What! even if their fathers had no knowledge of anything and were not guided?
Wrong practices of forefathers should not be preferred to the orders of Allah (SWT) and His messenger and should be given up.
