Al-Ma'idah (The Table)
Surah 5 · Verse 109
The day Allah will gather the messengers then say, “What was the response you got?” They will say, “We have no knowledge, You are certainly the Great Knower of unseen things.”
On the day of resurrection Allah (SWT) will question His messengers about the response they got but they will plead ignorance. Isa (PBH) will be reminded about His favours on him and his mother then asked, “Did you say to mankind: ‘Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah ?” He will deny and reply, “I just said: ‘Serve Allah my Fosterer and your Fosterer.”
