Al-Mujadilah (She Who Pleads)

Surah 58 · Verse 3

And those who do not go near their wives calling them their mothers, then (afterwards if they intend to) go back on what they said, they should free a slave before they touch each other, that is what you are admonished with, and Allah is informed of what you do.

وَالَّذِينَ يُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَمَاسَّا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
