Al-An'am (The Cattle)
Surah 6 · Verse 150
Say, “Come, bring your witnesses who should bear witness that Allah has made this unlawful.” But if they bear witness, you do not bear witness with them, and do not follow the desires of those who deny Our signs and those who do not believe in the hereafter and make (others) equal to their Fosterer. (R 18)
They do not have any proof that Allah (SWT) had made unlawful certain things which they themselves had made wrongfully unlawful. Believers are not to follow the desires of the infidels and the polytheists.
