Verses 1-10 refer to the occasion when prophet Muhammed (PBH) was busy with dignitaries of Quraish explaining to them Islam when a poor blind man Ibni Umm Maktoom, unaware of prophet’s (PBH) preoccupation, repeatedly interrupted him requesting him to teach him some verses of the Quran. This made the prophet frown.
