Al-Qasas (The Narrative)
Surah 28 · Verse 86
And you had not expected that the book would be communicated to you. (It is nothing) but a mercy from your Fosterer, therefore never be a helper of the infidels,
It is clearly mentioned that Prophet Muhammed (SAWA) did not expect that the Quran would be revealed to him, the choice was that of Allah (SWT). Some instructions are given and it is declared that except Allah (SWT) everything will perish and we will all return to Him for His judgement, on our deeds.
