Al-'Imran (The Family of Imran)
Surah 3 · Verse 146
And how many of the prophets fought (in the way of Allah) with whom there were many devoted men, so they did not become weak (hearted) because of what befell them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor were they humbled and Allah loves those who are patient.
“Examples of the earlier prophets and their followers are given to encourage Muslims to fight patiently against the enemies of Islam while praying to Allah (SWT) for success. Earlier Muslims got the reward of their struggle, in this world and the reward in the hereafter will be excellent because Allah (SWT) loves those who patiently do good.”
