Al-Ma'idah (The Table)
Surah 5 · Verse 72
They have indeed not believed who say, “Allah is certainly the Messiah, the son of Maryam.” Whereas the Messiah had said, “O children of Israel! serve Allah, my Fosterer and your Fosterer, whoever associates partners with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden and his settling place will be the fire, and there will be no helpers for the unjust.”
Isa (PBH) had invited Bani Israel to serve Allah (SWT) the only God and was against associating partners with Him. Isa (PBH) was a messenger of Allah (SWT) and not Allah (SWT) or His son, he and his mother were human beings and they ate food like other human beings.
