Al-A'raf (The Heights)
Surah 7 · Verse 26
O children of Adam! We have sent down to you clothing for hiding your shame and for good appearance, and clothing that guards (against evil), that is the best. That is of the signs of Allah that they may be mindful.
Clothes should be put on for hiding shame and for presenting a good appearance to others. Clothes should be such that they do not expose those parts of the body which attract the attention of the members of the opposite sex.
