Al-A'raf (The Heights)
Surah 7 · Verse 48
And the inhabitants of the heights (from where one can recognise), will call out to the men whom they would recognise by their marks, saying, “Your collections (hoardings) and that in which you considered yourselves great, have not saved you (from the punishment).”
We are able to see and talk to people residing at distant places on earth and also view many heavenly bodies quite closely through man-made satellites. It is quite possible that there will be some people expecting to be sent to paradise, but before entering it they may be located at such high places, like those of satellites, from where they could recognise and talk to their contemporary inhabitants of paradise and hell. These people could also be located on the high, insulating wall between paradise and hell.
