Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War)
Surah 8 · Verse 31
And when Our signs are read to them they say, “We have heard, if we will, we (too) can speak (on topic) like this, these are nothing but stories of the ancient.”
The infidels say that they can also speak on topics dealt within the Quran and challenge for punishment. They deserve punishment for all their sinful acts but Allah (SWT) did not punish them because prophet Muhamed (PBH) was present among them and He may not punish them if they ask for His protective forgiveness.
