Al-Bara'at / At-Taubah (Repentance)

Surah 9 · Verse 54

And nothing prevents their spendings being accepted from them except that they do not believe in Allah and in His messenger, and they come for worship (salat) while they are sluggish and they spend while they are unwilling.

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَنْ تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلَّا أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنْفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ
