Al-Bara'at / At-Taubah (Repentance)

Surah 9 · Verse 55

So, do not let their wealth and their children make you wonder, Allah wills only to punish them through it in this worlds life and (that) their souls should depart while they are infidels.

فَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنْفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ
